Paul W. Hemmer, Jr. is CEO of Paul Hemmer Company, a premier provider of commercial real estate throughout the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana region. The company manages projects from conception through completion and continues with management and maintenance. Paul has been recognized numerous times over the past 40 years and has served on many community and professional organizations, including the OneNKY Alliance, the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers, and the NKU Foundation, among many others.
Mary spent nearly two decades working with some of the most respected local real estate and development companies. As successful as Mary has been in the corporate world, she has created a lasting legacy by serving others and her community. She has taken a particular interest in the Northern Kentucky Educational Council and Cincinnati VA Organic Garden.
Paul and Mary stand as pillars to the local business, civic, and philanthropic communities. However, both of what they have accomplished has been done individually. They operate as a team in the truest sense of the word, providing support, guidance, and consultation to one another. You can see concrete evidence of this collaboration at Sand Run Nursery & Preserve, their farm located in Hebron, KY. Through their farm, Paul and Mary established the Freedom Tree program in partnership with the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Paul and Mary have jointly chaired the Northern Kentucky annual campaigns for the United Way, Fine Arts Fund, and NKU Annual Fund. Perhaps their greatest piece of teamwork is seen in their family, which includes five children and five grandchildren.
